Return and Warranty Terms

The items purchased from Ralakde Automation might not be eligible for coverage under the manufacturer's warranty. This is because Ralakde Automation is not recognized as an authorized dealer of the products. However, the item is covered by Ralakde Automation's 2-Year Warranty, and the terms of this warranty are outlined below.

  1. Return Policy
    1. Definition of Product Conditions
  1. Ralakde Automation Engineering Preferred Product (RPMFN1) — The product is unopened and still in its original packaging from the factory.
  2. Ralakde Automation Independent Supply Chain New Level 1 (RISCN1) — The product is still sealed in its original packaging from the factory.
  3. Surplus Never Used Original Packaging (RQANS1) — The product may be opened in its original factory packaging. However, products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, and discolored.
  4. Surplus Never Used Ralakde Automation Packaging (RQANS2) — The product has not been put into service, but is repackaged in Ralakde Automation custom shipping containers. RQANS2 may not include manual(s) or other accessories normally supplied when buying RPMFN1, RISCN1, or RQANS1. Products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, or discolored.   
  5. Previously Used / Ralakde Automation Certified (RQAUS1) — The product has been used previously and has undergone testing and repair to ensure functionality. Surplus may not include manual(s) or other accessories normally supplied when buying RPMFN1, RISCN1, or RQANS1. Products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, or discolored. 
  1. Non-Warranty Returns
  1. If customer is dissatisfied with any RQANS1, RQANS2, or RQAUS1 product purchased from Ralakde Automation, customer may return the product within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. A 25% restocking fee will apply to all non-warranty returns. Ralakde Automation does not accept returns of RQANS1, RQANS2, or RQAUS1 product based on the date manufactured or the cosmetic condition of product or packaging. Refunds of RQANS1, RQANS2, or RQAUS1 product will be issued only upon receipt and testing.
  2. All RPMFN1, RISCN1, and RQAVDSP products sold by Ralakde Automation are subject to the return policies of the original manufacturer, if applicable. The ability to return RPMFN1 and RISCN1 items may vary depending on the manufacturer. Certain manufacturers have a policy where items are deemed non-cancelable/non-returnable once a purchase order has been placed. However, there are also manufacturers who may permit returns, albeit with an associated restocking fee. If you have any concerns about the returnability of the item, please make sure to ask Ralakde Automation's sales representative at the time of placing your order. Ralakde Automation will make every effort to accommodate any cancellations or returns. However, please note that any charges associated with cancellations or returns will be the responsibility of the customer.
  3. Non-Warranty returns will only be accepted within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. If the customer needs to make a non-warranty return claim please contact Ralakde Automation at sales@findcontrols.co.uk or call +44 0 1782 563377 to obtain an RMA number before initiating the return process.
  4. All items must be returned in purchased condition and accompanied by an RMA number.
  5. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay shipping charges incurred when returning a non-warranty item.
  1. Surplus Warranty Return Policy

Items purchased from Ralakde Automation may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty as we are not an authorized dealer of the surplus merchandise. However, the item is covered by Ralakde Automation's 2-Year Warranty, and the terms of this warranty are outlined below.

  1. Ralakde Automation provides a warranty for the goods sold under a specific order. The goods are guaranteed to be free from any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years. This warranty period begins from the date the customer is invoiced for the goods. The warranty mentioned above applies only to goods that are stored, installed, handled, operated, or used under normal conditions.
  2. All warranties are provided by Ralakde Automation, not the manufacturer. The warranties stated here cannot be transferred without the prior written consent of Ralakde Automation.
  3. If a customer wishes to make a claim under section 2.1 (Warranty Claim) during the Warranty Period, the customer shall provide notice using the following methods:

    1. Ralakde Automation will provide a Return Authorization Number (RMA) after receiving a warranty claim. Without a valid RMA, Ralakde Automation will not entertain any warranty claims.
    2. The customer remains responsible for the cost of shipping and rush fees for goods returned under warranty claims.
    3. Ralakde Automation's responsibility shall be restricted to the free repair or replacement of any such good (or part or component thereof as determined by Ralakde Automation) at Ralakde Automation's exclusive discretion. In case that Ralakde Automation finds the item cannot be fixed or replaced, Ralakde Automation will credit the customer's account with the amount the customer paid for the item.
    4. Any warranty claim must be submitted before the end of the warranty period and include Ralakde Automation's RMA number. The product must also be returned within the same time period.
  • This guarantee supersedes any other express or implied warranties, including the disclaimer of any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and/or non-infringement by Ralakde Automation. Except for real damages up to but not surpassing the price the customer paid to Ralakde Automation for the specific good, Ralakde Automation shall not in any circumstance be liable for any damages. Furthermore, Ralakde Automation shall not be liable for any exceptional losses, such as indirect damages, incidental damages, lost profits, or lost revenue.
    1. Rockwell Disclaimer: The product is used surplus. Ralakde Automation is not an authorized surplus dealer or affiliated with the manufacturer of this product. The product you receive may have older date codes or belong to an older series compared to the ones available directly from the factory or authorized dealers. The original manufacturer's warranty does not apply as Ralakde Automation is not an authorized distributor of this product. Although some Allen-Bradley PLC products may come with pre-installed firmware, Ralakde Automation cannot guarantee the presence of firmware in a PLC product. Furthermore, if firmware exists, there is no assurance that it will be the appropriate revision level for your specific application. Ralakde Automation does not make any representations regarding your ability or rights to download or obtain firmware for the product from distributors or any other sources. Ralakde Automation does not make any representations regarding your right to install firmware on the product. Ralakde Automation does not provide or distribute firmware on behalf of customers. You are responsible for adhering to the terms of any End-User License Agreement or similar document when obtaining or installing firmware.
    1. Repaired Product

    Please note that items repaired by Ralakde Automation may not be covered by the manufacturer's repair warranty. This is because Ralakde Automation is not affiliated with any manufacturer as a service center. However, the item is covered by Ralakde Automation's 2-Year Warranty, and the terms of this warranty are outlined below.

    1. Ralakde Automation provides a warranty for the components that are repaired based on a specific repair order. These repaired goods are guaranteed to be free from any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years starting from the date the customer is invoiced for the repaired goods, which is referred to as the Warranty Period. The warranty mentioned above applies only to Repaired Goods that are stored, installed, handled, operated, or used under normal conditions.
    2. All warranties are provided by Ralakde Automation, not the manufacturer. The warranties stated here cannot be transferred without prior written consent from Ralakde Automation.
    3. If a customer wishes to make a claim under section 3.1 (Warranty Claim) during the Warranty Period, the customer shall provide notice using the following methods:

      1. Upon receiving a warranty claim, Ralakde Automation will provide a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Ralakde Automation requires a valid RMA for all Warranty Claims.

      3. Ralakde Automation's responsibility shall be restricted to the free repair or replacement of any such good (or part or component thereof as determined by Ralakde Automation) at Ralakde Automation's exclusive discretion.       5. This repair warranty does not apply to goods repaired pursuant to a warranty claim authorized by Section 2 or 4.

Except for real damages up to but not surpassing the price the customer paid to Ralakde Automation for the specific good, Ralakde Automation shall not in any circumstance be liable for any damages.   • Ralakde Automation will store repair parts that we have deemed Beyond Economical Repair for a maximum of 180 calendar days. After a period of 180 days, we will proceed with the processing and recycling of the parts.
  • RPMFN1 and RISCN1 Warranty Returns
  • The manufacturer's warranty may not cover RPMFN1 and RISCN1 items because Ralakde Automation is not an authorized dealer for these products. However, the item is covered by Ralakde Automation's 2-Year Warranty, and the terms of this warranty are outlined below.

    1. Ralakde Automation warrants that the food(s) sold pursuant to a particular order (goods) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date customer is invoiced for the goods (The Warranty Period). The foregoing warranty shall only be applicable to goods stored, installed, handled, operated, or otherwise used under normal conditions.
    2. All warranties are provided by Ralakde Automation, not the manufacturer. The warranties stated here cannot be transferred without prior written consent from Ralakde Automation.
    3. If a customer wishes to make a claim under section 4.1 (Warranty Claim) during the Warranty Period, the customer shall provide notice using the following methods:

    1. In certain cases, Ralakde Automation may have the ability to assign or facilitate the transfer of the factory warranty, without establishing any agency or affiliation with the manufacturer. In such cases, Ralakde Automation will make appropriate arrangements to facilitate the warranty processing with the manufacturer. Ralakde Automation will honor its two-year warranty even if the manufacturer provides a shorter warranty.
    1. Other Terms:
    1. All sales and services are assumed to have occurred in the United Kingdom. The warranties provided by Ralakde Automation, as described above, will be interpreted according to United Kingdom law, without considering conflict of law provisions. The venue for any dispute that may arise from this agreement will be in the State or Federal Court closest to the main office of Ralakde Automation. The parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the Courts.
    2. The customer guarantees that they are currently and will continue to comply with all relevant regulations in the United Kingdom, as well as any state or local regulations that govern the sale and delivery of goods for export. The customer acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with these regulations. The terms stated here represent the complete agreement for this transaction, with the exception of the product and/or service description and pricing. These terms are also subject to our credit agreement (if applicable) with the customer, our invoice, and our separate order confirmation.
    3. If any part of these terms is determined to be unenforceable by a court with jurisdiction, that specific term will be adjusted to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, while the remaining terms will remain unaffected. Any terms offered by the customer that are contrary to this transaction are not included. The customer is responsible for defending, indemnifying, and holding Ralakde Automation and its agents harmless in the event of any breach of these terms or any misuse or abuse of any item sold or serviced by the customer.
    4. The customer assumes responsibility for the goods once Ralakde Automation delivers them to the carrier at the F.O.B shipping point. The title to the goods being sold shall remain with the Seller until the Buyer has made full payment. 
    5. Ralakde Automation will not be held responsible for any delays that may occur due to factors beyond its control, such as manufacturing plant issues, transportation problems, strikes, fires, floods, storms, war, insurrections, riots, governmental regulations, orders, acts or instructions, or any other unforeseen circumstances. By agreeing to this, the customer acknowledges and waives any claims related to such delays.
    6. If any part of this transaction violates export laws in the United Kingdom then this transaction will be considered invalid and cannot be enforced.
    7. Any changes, revocation, termination, cancellation, or discharge of this Agreement will only be valid if it is in written form and signed by all parties involved in this Agreement. Both parties are prohibited from assigning any of their rights under this Agreement without obtaining the prior written consent of the other party. In the event that any term or provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, it will not impact any other term or provision of this Agreement. Furthermore, it will not invalidate or render unenforceable that specific term or provision in any other jurisdiction. A waiver that is authorized on one occasion is only effective for that specific instance and for the purpose that is stated. It does not serve as a waiver for any future occasions. Failure or delay in exercising any right, remedy, power, or privilege, or in enforcing any condition under this Agreement, as well as any act, omission, or course of dealing between the parties, does not constitute a waiver or estoppel of any right, remedy, power, privilege, or condition that arises from this Agreement.
    8. Customer credits resulting from product returns will expire if not used within one year from the date of credit. These credits will not be redeemable after the expiration date.
